The exhibition featured over 300 items that were generously donated by Kylie Minogue to the Melbourne Arts Centre’s Performing Arts Collection – including costumes, accessories, photographs and audio-visual material.

PhotoMesh™ provided the gallery with an attractive screen while allowing visitors to enjoy the lakeside views

One of the great features of the NPG gallery space is the large windows overlooking Lake Burley Griffin, providing wonderful natural light and views. However, high security surrounding the exhibition meant that a solution was needed to stop people seeing in from the outside. The answer was found by applying PhotoMesh™ to the front windows. This allowed the gallery to advertise the show, save costs on security and still retain the wonderful Canberra view.

Kylie was unable to attend the opening herself, however a life-size cutout was produced in one of her fabulous outfits. The exhibition proves that Kylie remains an enduring icon of style.
